Announcement: Upcoming murder mystery series
Where are the bodies? Where are the murderers? Is this all that we get?
I’m sure some of you are thinking, “This is supposed to be a MYSTERY newsletter. So far all I’ve seen are a rejected script for a Rockford Files episode and some weird crap about talking foxes.”
Fear not, my friends.
Based on your feedback my guess that maybe you want an actual murder mystery, I will kick off a third story series on June 20th.
The series is yet to be named (but probably will include the word “murder” in the title), which will feature at least one (1) murder and one (1) attempted murder, which I believe are the minimum number of required murders and assaults involved in a proper murder mystery (based on my experience watching twelve seasons of Murdoch Mysteries, a very polite Canadian show about crime).
I’m giving everyone a head’s up that you probably won’t get an update to the Rossi/Lopez story or the Erland/Hedda story until the 1st post of the murder mystery comes out on the 20th. This is because, while the other two stories are in a final stage, I’ve been making modifications before I send them out, to make them fit the serialized format and to incorporate what I’ve learned along the way while publishing serialized fiction. I really want to focus on this new story and get it ready for you.
After that, I’ll continue to cycle through the stories on a weekly-ish basis, and try to include other features as well.
In the meantime, here are some images to set the stage:
