I’ve made significant additions to the original story, which I think will be interesting to people who have read the chapters published in the serialized version (story guide at this link). I integrated a subplot to enrich the main storyline, provide some additional motivation, perspective, and background for Terry’s character, and more info on how Terry’s character changes from his growing awareness of, and interactions with, criminals.
The additional length of the novel does a much better job setting up the rest of the series, which I’ve currently planning to include three additional books.
In future books, I’ll continue Terry’s character arc, showing how he learns to cope and survive in his new “career” and ultimately bring that to a conclusion. What will happen, and who survives and who does not… we’ll have to see.
